Learn how to pattern and embellish yardage or garments with textile paints, metallics, and foils with artist in residence and fabric modification expert Deborah Dryden. During the course of a full day workshop we will employ a variety of methods including blockprinting, stamping, direct painting, and transferring imagery to your fabric. Examples of the work of theatre and surface design artists utilizing these techniques will be shown as inspiration.
